Joanne Friesen

Joanne was born and raised under the huge Alberta sky. She grew up with a deep appreciation of nature which then expanded through her world travels.   

 

Her painting shares her passion and understanding of beauty, life and light, whether it be in a flower, or the smile lines of an aging face.  She wants to understand, explore, capture and share the elusive moment and unique mystery of living things. 

 

Joanne's work encourages everyone to look at common and seemingly insignificant things with fresh eyes.
